Floating Memories

A sculpture of a large, decaying shed, suspended above the ground by a series of ropes woven through the shed and attached to large metal beams. The photo has been modified with image editing software to show the original image in the inner most rectangle at the center of the edited image, with six additional rectangle ’layers’ stretching the image, particularly it’s rusting red legs, and eminating out in increasing sizes from the center of the photograph.

This artwork has its own place as a unique series within my memories, and a growing sense of grief and potential loss as I’ve watched it naturally decay over the years of visiting the park.
