Off the Rails

A steel sculpture with blue support poles and yellow twisting sets of bars, similar to something you’d encounter on a children’s playground. The original image has been modified to be blurrier and look a bit glitchy and a bright, almost neon green filter overlay has been applied, except for a square section in the center which retains the original colours.

A reminder of how the World can look when we stray too far from our childhood and ourselves, the world starts to feel like it’s warped and off the rails.

A steel sculpture with blue support poles and yellow twisting sets of bars, similar to something you’d encounter on a children’s playground. Which makes sense when the purpose of the sculpture is to be interactive and be a “playful twist on familiar pastimes and amusements.”
